What is Free Fall About?
Free Fall explores themes of isolation, trust, and survival in the cosmos. After the devastating proton storm disrupts operations on the Delta space station, repairman Max finds himself cut off from his crew. With communication systems down and facing a dire situation, he must rely on the voice of a station dispatcher, Anna, who attempts to guide him back to safety.
However, the tension escalates as Max begins to question Anna’s true intentions—are they allied in survival, or is there something more sinister at play? The film stands out from other space thrillers like Gravity by introducing this unpredictable element of potential sabotage and deceit within the confines of outer space.
